Aim: to make a poster on the EM Spectrum
All must be able to state the constituents of the EM Spectrum (C Grade) Most should be able to describe the EM field that makes up light (B Grade) Some could be able to relate uses of the EM spectrum to their properties (A/A* Grade) Today we looked at an overview of the electromagnetic spectrum using devices set up in the classroom: a radio, TV, mobile phone, microwave, heat lamp, light filters, UV lamp and an X-ray of a broken knee cap. You then carried out research to begin to make a poster about the EM spectrum and its uses using info sheets placed around the room, a table of wavelength and frequencies for the EM spectrum and your Physics for You books.
